　Our school was founded on February 28, 1923 as Ishikawa Prefectural Hakui Junior High School. On April 1, 1948, the name was changed to Ishikawa Prefectural Hakui Senior High School due to the organizational change of Ishikawa prefectural schools.

　Today it is a full-time, coeducational, comprehensive school, and it consists of 5 classes for each grade (597 students and 47 teachers).

　Our students eagerly participate in club activities as well as in their studies. Most of them go on to higher education.
