Our ALTs

Hello, my name is Lauren and I am an ALT at Sakuragaoka High School. I am from the beautiful state of Alabama. I graduated from Auburn University with a degree in music education and a minor in Italian studies. I love living in Japan and hope to learn everything I can about Japanese culture, especially the music. I truely enjoy teaching and hope to share both the English language and American culture with the students.

Hello. My name is Zach and I am from America. I am currently working as one of the two ALTs at Sakuragaoka Senior High School. I grew up in Indiana and went to Wittenberg University in Ohio, where I studied history and East Asian studies. I have long been interested in Japan and am always learning new things about it. Inside and outside of my class, I hope that students will learn not only English but a lot about American culture as well!
